Why do modern people want to know about the Edo period?

I think that the people who lived in the Edo period didn't have lots of money and things, but people could live with pleasure and smile.

Nowadays, although people have much money and food, they can't be satisfied with them.

The symbol tower of Asakusa

Do you know this big and tall tower on this movie?
This is the Sky Tree located near the Sumida River in Asakusa.
Its hight is 470 meters now and it has very cool shape doesn't it.
This tower is being built and getting higher and higher.
So Many people come to Asakusa to see it or take some photo everyday.

My summer vacation!!

I'll be too busy in my summer vacation.
Because I have many plans.

First I'm going to go to theater to watch kabuki and other kinds of dramas more than five times from July to September.
My hobby is watching kabuki and dramas.
But usually I go to school six days a week, unfortunately on Sunday sometimes there is something I must do.
So I can't go and watch them!!
In summer vacation I have more time to do many things I want to.

Second I'll go on a trip to Kyoto to visit many temples for three days and two night with my mother.
I like Kyoto very much.
So I have been to Kyoto more than seven times.
I want to be a curator and tell other people about Japanese culture in the future.
Now I think I have to Know and experience many kinds of Japanese culture.
It is more impotant for me to visit Kyoto city.
